Isolation/Shielded Transformer

Traditionally, this is a 1 to 1 (e.g. 208Δ to 208Y) transformer that shields outgoing current from unwanted sparatic frequencies. It is largely applied to audio and/or video applications where clean current is desired.

All transformers have/are:

  • primary and secondary switches
  • fan cooled for optimum performance at high ampacity output
  • wheel mounted for easy site relocation and connection
  • roll bars built around them to protect them during shipping and placement
  • cam in/out reverse neutral and ground
  • standard 2 1/2% taps 2+/-
